Forklift scales

Forklift scales are scales that are installed on forklifts in order to enable precise measurement of the weight of cargo being loaded and unloaded. These are typically used in industrial facilities such as warehouses, factories or ports for loading and unloading cargo.

These scales usually consist of sensors that are mounted on the hydraulic system of the forklift. They measure the force acting on the forklifts during loading and unloading, and based on this force, the weight of the load is calculated.

Forklift scales are useful because they allow accurate measurement of the load during loading and unloading, which can avoid exceeding the weight limit of the vehicle or goods, which can lead to fines or even accidents. Accurate measurement also helps avoid wasted time and costs due to reloading or unloading cargo.
In addition, forklift scales can be equipped with other functions, such as connecting to a computer system for tracking and managing inventory or to a warehouse management computer. This enables faster and more efficient inventory management and the loading and unloading process.
