Scales for trucks
Truck scales are a type of industrial scales used to measure the weight of loads on trucks and other vehicles. These usually consist of a concrete platform or weighing bridge with large weight sensors placed under the platform. The truck is then driven over the scale, and the sensors measure the total weight of the vehicle and the cargo on it.
Truck scales are often used in weighing stations, logistics centers, terminals and other places where precise determination of the weight of the load is required. These are important to ensure that vehicles are not overloaded, which can cause safety issues and road hazards. They are also important in the trade of goods, where cargo is measured by weight, as well as in the waste industry, where they are used to measure the amount of waste that goes to landfill.
