Weighing in motion

Weighing vehicles in motion is a technology used to accurately weigh vehicles while they are moving, without the need to stop. This technology is commonly used to measure the weight of loads in trucks, trains or other goods transport vehicles.

Weighing of vehicles in motion is usually carried out on special platforms that are built into the road or rails. Sensors placed under the platforms measure the weight of the vehicle as it moves over it. With the help of sophisticated algorithms, the system can isolate the weight of the load from the weight of the vehicle and thus precisely measure the amount of load being transported.

This technology has many advantages over traditional methods of vehicle weighing, which include manual weighing or the use of stationary scales. As well as being faster and more efficient, weighing vehicles in motion can also reduce waiting times and road congestion and reduce the cost of doing business.

Vehicle-in-motion weighing is also used in a variety of sectors, including road, rail and air transport, and is used for a variety of purposes, including gathering traffic data and tracking the amount of freight being transported.
